JCP Financial Law was founded by Javier Cano Peláez, a lawyer with over 25 years of experience in financial regulation and legal advisory for the financial sector.
From 2000 to 2010, he worked at the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), first as an inspector in the Supervision Department and later as a lawyer in the Legal Service.
He subsequently led the regulatory compliance function of the Bankinter Group until 2019 and has since provided specialised legal and regulatory advice to financial institutions at several top-tier law and consulting firms.
He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association, registration number 101,361.
